South Island Road Trip – Tekapo

In the central South Island there is a sparse, dry golden land known as the McKenzie Country.  From late November to late December, the lupins bloom, the sun shines and the evening shadows make for the most beautiful scenery.  I must admit, I did go quite loopy over the lupins!
