In and around Oamaru, South Island, New Zealand

Four days short break for our annual remembrance day ANZAC.  So Eunice (the caravan) and I head south,  stopping off at Oamaru to look at the Victorian buildings and the steam punk museum and then on to Hampden, half an hour down the road.  Hampden is on the coast and very close to the beautifully spherical Moeraki boulders.  It is an exquisitely beautiful part of coastal and inland New Zealand – particularly at dawn and dusk.  The light this weekend was just magical and the scenery – breathtaking.  You may think there are just too many photos of the boulders – but there was just something so incredible about being at this place, at two sunrises and a sunset.  I simply couldn’t narrow down the selection of photos any further.
