I have never been to this part of the upper South Island before. Like the rest of NZ, it is a photographer’s dream, long isolated beaches, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, bush and hidden lakes.
Flowers are a common source of photographic inspiration. Spring in a friend’s garden provided a great opportunity to celebrate colour and nature’s design. Apart from the magnolia .. I have no idea of the plant names!
