Marahau has about 30 houses and baches,  two or three cafes and a very long beach.  It’s also the start of the Abel Tasman walking track.  So it’s a very popular launch spot for tourists keen to see more of the bush and beaches of this part of the world.  I spent an hour or so there on an evening with a very disappointing sunset.  I went back the next day on my bike to take another look.
