There’s the memory of a wharf at Onekaka – used many years ago to load sheep and timber harvested from the area. It made a great spot for a pink sunset.
I have never been to this part of the upper South Island before. Like the rest of NZ, it is a photographer’s dream, long isolated beaches, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, bush and hidden lakes.
